MUSICAL MATCH MAKING
Radford’s parent support group for school music, Friends of Radford Music (FORM), operates a Musical Match-Making service for Radford families, to link up those who want to buy musical instruments with those who want to sell. Musical Match-Making is simply an introduction service. Once families are introduced, arrangements are entirely for buyer and seller to make. FORM’s charge is modest and it takes no responsibility for the outcome.
Families wanting to buy an instrument simply contact the convener, who will give them the contact details of anyone selling an instrument of interest. The convener also keeps a list of anyone wanting to buy a particular type of instrument: this is free. Families wanting to register an instrument for sale contact the convener, who will add their instrument and details to the register: FORM has a one-off charge of $5 per instrument for this service.
The instruments registered with us at the time of writing are listed below. We will update this list at intervals to keep it as current as we can. However, we cannot guarantee that it is completely up to date at all times. So please be aware that a) some instruments may have been sold by the time you read this, and b) some instruments may have been listed for sale since the list was compiled. If searching for an instrument not listed, it is probably worth contacting the convener to check on any recent listings. The convener holds a list which is updated every time he hears that an instrument is for sale or has been sold.
Until further notice we will assume that selling families may not wish to have their details listed.
